a city kitchen entertains...

Last night we hosted a dinner for six, it was just a casual dinner but cooking for more than two people in a small city kitchen on a weeknight does have its challenges, here are my tips:

1. Set the table the night before.

2. Make sure the dishwasher is empty, with glasses, plates, etc. the dishwasher will fill up quickly!
3. Candles are an easy way to create great ambiance.
4. Mumford and Sons Pandora station will never let you down.
5. Tin foil is a must, timing can be tough but tin foil will always keep your dishes hot.
6. Clean your dishes as you cook.
7. Great company and good wine.

Candles and Lavender, looks pretty and smells great.
a small table set for six.
a light appetizer.
a great inexpensive wine.
after dinner games.
and a great co-host!
